Farewell Banquet
2020-09-10
"Time flies like a song in the blink of an eye, and once gone, moments never return." On September 5, 2017, Wang, the company’s CFO, was officially retiring—a milestone that truly left a bittersweet feeling in his heart. In a message shared with the company’s DingTalk group, Wang Yiming reflected: "Today, September 5, marks the day I bid farewell to MinTe and embark on a new chapter in life. Over the past 15 years at MinTe—especially the first six years in Guangzhou, during which we faced the terrifying SARS outbreak in 2003 (the very place where it originated)—I’ve experienced both joyful highs and tough, tearful lows as we navigated the bustling auto parts market alongside General Wu. Yet, through it all, we’ve steadily built something meaningful, one step at a time..."
Conduct emergency fire drills
To further strengthen fire safety education among company employees and enhance their ability to respond effectively to emergencies—specifically in terms of properly using fire extinguishers and mastering evacuation techniques—the entire staff of the company’s administrative office building participated in this year’s firefighting competition, organized and arranged by the Manufacturing and Administration Departments on July 24, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. This fire drill featured three key activities: safe evacuation, obstacle-based fire suppression, and fire hose connection. Notably, unlike previous drills, this event was structured as a team-based competitive competition, which not only boosted engagement and enthusiasm but also encouraged broader participation. As a result, more employees were able to actively take part, ensuring they gained practical experience and truly mastered essential skills.
Mintel Team Building – Ignite Passion, Together Crafting Brilliance
To strengthen the company’s cultural development, enhance mutual communication among colleagues, and foster a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration across the entire workforce, the company organized a two-day team-building training session for all employees on April 28. Centered around the two key themes—“Team Building” and “Challenging Yourself”—the event aimed to build resilience, boost team cohesion, and reinforce the collective spirit within the organization. Through engaging activities, new employees were quickly integrated into their teams, helping them find a sense of belonging and connection with their colleagues. This not only enriched the overall training experience but also yielded outstanding results. Throughout the program, participants actively engaged under the guidance of experienced coaches, fostering deeper bonds and creating a more dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Fire drill
To ensure robust fire safety practices within the company and safeguard the personal and production safety of all employees, the company organized a fire emergency response drill for workshop staff on the morning of September 13th. This drill aimed to reinforce the fundamental principle of "prevention first, combining prevention with firefighting," helping to proactively prevent unexpected fire incidents. In addition to enhancing everyone’s ability to respond effectively and practice self-rescue techniques, the exercise also sought to strengthen safety awareness and foster a greater sense of responsibility among participants. The company’s General Manager served as the overall commander, leading the establishment of dedicated firefighting and emergency evacuation teams.
Warm and cordial greetings that touch the heart
Minter employees always submit their leave requests through the company’s DingTalk platform. When the Administration Department learned that two employees from the Manufacturing Department had both applied for time off at different times, they called to inquire—and discovered that it was due to family members falling ill and being hospitalized. Ying Guohong, our workshop’s skilled machinist and a key technical expert, recently received heartbreaking news: his father was admitted to the ICU after falling seriously ill. Meanwhile, Zhang Xiaojin, our company’s young and dynamic electrical engineer, was devastated to learn that his pregnant wife was experiencing severe early pregnancy complications. Reacting swiftly and with heartfelt concern, on October 24th, the Administration Department, entrusted by General Manager Wu and filled with warmth and care from all colleagues across the company, organized a visit to offer their support and comfort to these employees and their families.
IATF16949 Internal Auditor Training
The company previously organized internal auditor training in July 2017. Over the past two years of growth, due to staff turnover and evolving trends in the automotive parts industry, company leadership has decided to provide another round of system training for the current management team. The TS16949 quality system serves as the foundation for the smooth operation of all organizational processes, while TS16949 internal auditors play a critical role in ensuring that this system itself remains robust and effective. To guarantee the seamless functioning of the TS16949 quality framework, it is deemed essential to equip TS16949 internal auditors with the necessary skills and knowledge. With this in mind, on March 23rd and 24th, instructor Zong from Aiwei Corporate Training conducted sessions specifically tailored for the company’s management team.
