Five Water Treatments—I Take the Lead
To implement the provincial Party Committee and provincial government’s major decision—“Comprehensive Water Management: Tackling Sewage, Drainage, Flood Prevention, Water Supply Assurance, and Water Conservation”—and to enhance urban and rural living environments while advancing the construction of a幸福嵊州 (Happy Shengzhou), the Chengnan New Area has emerged as a key battleground in Shengzhou’s “Eight Major Campaigns” initiative. As a rising urban core, on the morning of April 8, General Manager Wu led the management team to participate in the “Five-Water Co-Governance” effort in Zhencheng Village, where they worked together to clear rivers of accumulated garbage and sediment. “The root of water issues lies not in the water itself, but on the land,” highlighting that water management is closely intertwined with industrial transformation and upgrading—both influencing and reinforcing each other. Among these efforts, industrial transformation serves as the foundation; only through successful industrial restructuring can we truly drive sustainable economic and social development.
What is lean production?
Lean Production, also known as "Superior Production," derives its name from two key concepts: "Jing" symbolizes excellence, precision, and refinement, while "Yi" represents benefits, efficiency, and value. At its core, Lean Production focuses on manufacturing exactly when needed, eliminating defects, and systematically removing all forms of waste—aiming relentlessly toward zero defects and zero inventory. This innovative approach was introduced by MIT's International Motor Vehicle Program, a groundbreaking research initiative. After extensive studies and meticulous comparisons, the team concluded that Toyota Motor Corporation's production system in Japan stood out as the most effective and adaptable production management model for modern manufacturing enterprises. They dubbed this method "Lean Production," highlighting its ability to address the inefficiencies and over-engineering often associated with traditional mass-production strategies in the U.S.

This recognition reflects the long-standing appreciation for our company's product quality—and serves as a powerful encouragement to keep striving forward together, working hand in hand to drive technological innovation to even greater heights.
