During the training, through playing firefighting videos and PPT, it focused on explaining how to check and eliminate potential safety hazards, how to report fire alarms correctly, how to put out the initial fire, how to escape correctly and other major issues. Through some major domestic fires in recent years The case series and the shocking screen explanations not only enhanced the fire safety awareness and responsibility awareness of all employees, but also further deepened the perceptual awareness of fire hazards. The manufacturing minister gave a detailed explanation on the company’s dry powder fire extinguishers in three aspects: dry powder fire extinguishers rely on the sprayed fire extinguishing powder to form an isolation layer on the burning material to prevent combustion, and the powder will decompose into non-combustible gas when heated, reducing combustion The oxygen content in the zone is used to extinguish the fire.
 

1. Scope of application: Dry powder fire extinguishers combine the advantages of foam, carbon dioxide and carbon tetrachloride fire extinguishers, and are suitable for fighting oil, combustible gas, electrical equipment and materials that burn in water.

2. Check the fire extinguisher

(1) Check the fire extinguisher maintenance card, confirm that the fire extinguisher is the same model as the card, and confirm that the fire extinguisher is within the effective period of use.

(2) Check whether the fire extinguisher pressure is within the qualified range (the pointer is not lower than the green area). Check the fire extinguisher pressure.

(3) Check whether the nozzle is unblocked and whether it is aging.

(4) Check whether the fire extinguisher bottle is corroded or damaged.

3. Use a fire extinguisher

(1) Analyze the fire scene, determine the nature of combustion, and select the appropriate fire extinguisher.

(2) If there is power supply in the fire site, the fire site power supply should be cut off first.

(3) Hold the handle of the fire extinguisher in the direction of the upwind, and lift it to the fire steadily and quickly.

(4) Pull out the safety pin at a distance of about 5m from the burning material. Press the opening lever with one hand, hold the jet horn with the other hand, and aim the nozzle at the fire surface and sweep it forward. When spraying, the fire should be extinguished by approaching from near and far, from outside to inside.

Through this fire safety training, employees will further enhance the fire protection awareness of “hidden danger is more dangerous than open fire, prevention is better than disaster relief, and responsibilities are heavier than Taishan” in work and life.
