On February 12, the eighth day of the first lunar month—and also the very first day Minter Company resumed operations—the general manager led our team in a fun team-building activity: we watched the movie *The Wandering Earth*. Set in the not-too-distant future, the film depicts a scenario where the sun is rapidly aging and expanding, threatening to engulf the entire planet. To save Earth, humanity has constructed tens of thousands of planetary engines on the planet's surface, propelling it out of the solar system in search of a new home. On February 12—the eighth day of the first lunar month, and also the first day Minter Company resumed work—the general manager led our team in a fun team-building activity: watching the movie *The Wandering Earth*. The film unfolds in the not-too-distant future, when the sun rapidly ages and expands, threatening to engulf Earth in an apocalyptic catastrophe. To save humanity and the planet, people construct tens of thousands of planetary engines on Earth’s surface, propelling the entire globe out of the solar system in search of a new home. Thus begins Earth’s and humanity’s epic, centuries-long journey through the cosmos—expected to last as long as 2,500 years.
In the race against time, countless individuals have stepped forward one after another, bravely pressing on without hesitation—driven solely by the hope of ensuring the survival of future generations. At the same time, this deeply resonates with me as I reflect on the true essence of corporate management. From a business perspective, a company’s civilization is akin to its culture; and the enduring legacy of that culture is nothing less than the very soul of the enterprise—a legacy passed down through generations, paving the way for more enduring, century-old organizations.

First of all, science fiction films have historically been a weak point for China—while the story concepts often showcase bold imagination, the sci-fi world-building frequently lacks depth and believability. Yet after the preview screening of *The Wandering Earth*, audiences overwhelmingly praised it, with its special effects already rivaling those of mid-budget Hollywood productions. This film has become a landmark in Chinese sci-fi cinema. The success of *The Wandering Earth* can be attributed not only to groundbreaking creative thinking by the filmmakers but also to the production team’s willingness to invest boldly—and the actors’ courage to take on challenging roles. For us at Minter, technological innovation is the key to staying ahead in the fiercely competitive new-energy vehicle market.
Next, there’s the matter of entering the underground city—access requires a lottery system. Yet China’s astronaut Liu Peiqiang happens to hold a key that bypasses the lottery altogether. With this key, he can not only rescue his own son but also unexpectedly save his father-in-law. What does this reveal? It shows that those who are stronger have more choices at their disposal—your abilities empower you to decide your own path. Ultimately, it underscores that only by becoming even stronger can we ensure sustainable success in the long run.
Speaking of emotions, beyond cherishing our families, humans also need friends who stand by us through thick and thin. A true friend is someone who truly understands you—like the Russian veteran Ma, whose ultimate sacrifice allowed Liu Peiqiang to make his own crucial decision. It’s the selfless acts and collective efforts of teammates that ultimately made possible the captain’s relentless pursuit to save the Hangzhou Engine Station. After all, emotion is the strongest bond that holds a team together. Many people remain deeply committed to a company not just because of its mission or benefits, but because they’ve formed a personal connection and trust with someone within it. Building a strong corporate culture is akin to nurturing familial ties—creating an environment where more and more employees feel as close and valued as family members. Ultimately, we realize that the highest form of retaining talent lies in fostering a culture that makes everyone feel like part of the "family."
In the end, as China's rescue team fought alone, Han Duoduo, rallying her colleagues during the rescue effort, declared: "I used to doubt there was any hope—but after today, I believe it’s true. Hope is something even more precious than a diamond; it’s the very compass guiding us back home." But why, then, did they still push forward with a plan that had zero chance of success? Because hope never dies, and love for their mission—and for each other—kept them going. Their homes were the beacon in their hearts, lighting the way forward. It was in that moment we realized: machines may be powerful tools, but ultimately, it’s humans who constantly strive to transcend their limits. That’s precisely why internal training and continuous communication within an organization are absolutely critical. So let’s cherish this opportunity to grow, embrace change, and take action—because when we do, I’m confident that many things will get better. And just as surely, I believe Minter’s future will shine brighter than ever before!
