From January 22 to February 1, 2020, the company offered its employees a 10-day annual vacation. However, this holiday period took an unusual turn due to the ongoing pandemic. On January 23, the Administration Department received notification from the Economic Development Office of the Construction Management Committee, requesting them to compile a roster of employees originally from Wuhan, Hubei Province. As you can imagine, at that time, Wuhan was severely affected by the outbreak—so much so that the city had been placed under lockdown, and employees from Wuhan were strictly prohibited from returning to Sheng for work. In response, the Administration Department immediately reached out to all Wuhan-based employees, checking in on their health and emphasizing the importance of following strict prevention measures. They assured everyone to stay calm and patiently await further updates from the company.
The Administration Department conducted a survey to track where all company employees planned to go during their annual leave, while also actively collaborating with government efforts to strengthen prevention and control measures. They promptly reported the situation to senior leadership, who subsequently decided to delay the resumption of work. During this period of delayed reopening, the company established a dedicated Epidemic Prevention and Control Task Force. Mr. Wu was appointed as the team leader, responsible for ensuring alignment with and implementation of provincial and municipal government policies. Meanwhile, Deputy General Manager Xiao took on the role of deputy leader, overseeing the overall coordination of all tasks. Both leaders remained at the forefront of the防控 efforts, securing critical防控 supplies needed after work resumed—supplies that were in extremely high demand and nearly impossible to obtain at the time. Despite these challenges, Mr. Wu and Xiao leveraged every available resource to overcome obstacles one by one, ultimately ensuring robust safety measures for MinTe employees upon their return to work. Meanwhile, members of the防控 team worked tirelessly, rotating shifts to meticulously prepare the workplace for the safe resumption of operations. They also actively educated employees about the dangers of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, urging everyone to unite and collaborate closely to navigate these challenging times together.

Given the solid groundwork laid in the earlier stages, the company resumed work on February 12. Employees arrived at the office promptly and in an orderly manner, with measures such as disinfection, temperature checks, and mask distribution already in place. Throughout the resumption of operations, the company actively collaborated with the Construction Management Committee, the Health Commission, and the Provincial Administrative Office during their inspection visits—receiving high praise for its proactive approach and setting a valuable example among businesses.
